Skiing Conditions in Bulgaria Attract Foreigners

 



The mild weather around Europe seems to have sent many a skiers to Bulgaria's resorts.

Borovets, one of the top three winter resorts in the country, offered this weekend good skiing opportunities for its guests, mostly Russians and Britons. The resort has three runs open.

Skiers will find functional runs in Vitosha mountain, Bansko and Pamporovo.

Meanwhile experts commented that northern Europe could reap big benefits from global warming.

Artificial Snow Saves Ski Season in Bulgaria



Bulgaria's EU accession on January 1 won't send up the cost of the ski lift passes, a poll of Standart shows. Bulgaria's four big winter resorts, Bansko, Borovets, Pamporovo and Vitosha, announced that this winter they won't increase the prices of ski services. Bansko and Pamporovo keep their tradition and preserve the preferential prices for the Bulgarian tourists who are considered regular guests.
