St. Anastasia Island

St. Anastasia is an island in the Bourgas bay in the Black Sea. Between 1945 and 1990 the island was named Bolshevik. It is located 6.5 km southeastern from Bourgas, between St. Anastasia cape and Atia cape.
The island is formed of volcanic rocks, it is 12 m high and its area is 0.022 sq.m. In 1924 the island was turned into a concentration camp. An old dried up well is situated in the northern part of the island.

Luxury Kaliakra apartment complex to be marketed to Arab buyers

Azure del Mar, a holiday village-type development near the Kaliakra Cape, on the Black Sea, will be showcased later this week at a special presentation in Dubai, said Bulgarian Dreams, the Bulgarian-British real estate agency which is marketing the property.

Bulgarian co Balma to develop residential project near Sozopol


 


Local company Balma plans to build a new residential complex near the village of Rosen, in the coastal Sozopol municipality, near Burgas city.

Kavarna. The US citizen Ashrita Furman (52) made a new Guiness world record on Kaliakra Cape, municipality of Kavarna reports for FOCUS Agency.
